Rhana Kurdi
Founder & CEO
Rhana Kurdi is a retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel, Military Intelligence Officer and Combat Veteran. During her 22 years of service she gained extensive global experience in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe where she served in operational and strategic positions.
Education
A Professor of Military Science, Lieutenant Kurdi received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Chaminade University, and a Master's of Science in International Relations & Conflict Management from Troy University. She is also a graduate of Command General Staff College, and of the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
In 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Kurdi was appointed Executive Director of LaunchLKN, a startup incubator in Charlotte, North Carolina. She recently moved to Qatar from the U.S., after having lived in over 20 countries.

Dr. George McLendon
Chairman of the Board
Dr. George McLendon served as the Howard R. Hughes Provost and Professor of Chemistry at Rice University, Dean of Trinity College of Arts and Science at Duke University, and R.W. Moore Professor and Chair of the Department of Chemistry at Princeton University. Dr. McLendon holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and a doctorate from Texas A&M University.
Dr. McLendon has authored over 200 peer-reviewed publications and has been honored with multiple national research awards, such as the ACS Award in Pure Chemistry, the Eli Lilly Award in Biological Chemistry, Sloan Dreyfus Award, and Guggenheim Fellowships. His latest research has significant implications for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer and genetic diseases. Furthermore, he has successfully co-founded four companies that have been monetized through IPO or acquisition, with a combined market value exceeding US$500M.
He's served as Vice President of Carolinas Healthcare System and Managing Director of MLBio, a subsidiary of BridgeBio Pharma Inc. (BridgeBio), a commercial-stage bio-pharmaceutical company.
